New Joint Venture to Provide World Class Capability
The launch of an exciting new Joint Venture training company has been announced.
Nucleus Training Ltd will bring together the world class training facilities of the ENERGUS Academy at Lillyhall with the world class training capability of local training provider GEN II.
Mike Smith, the new CEO of Nucleus said "This is a highly exciting and strategically very important next step for GEN II and ENERGUS, which will cement the two organisations together. Nucleus will provide the impetus for new business growth and development especially in the nuclear new build, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing markets. Whilst we have a new company to consider our existing clients and customers will still retain their strong links with GEN II and ENERGUS which will continue as separate companies in their own right."
The announcement of the Joint Venture coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of GEN II by partner companies Sellafield Ltd, AMEC, Corus, Iggesund Paperboard, Innovia Films and UKAEA.
It is envisaged that strength gained by the Joint Venture will provide Nucleus with the capability to grow regionally, nationally and internationally, playing an important part in the Energy Coast Campus Programme and Britain's Energy CoastTM Masterplan.
