Welcome to the web site for ENERGUS, a Centre of Excellence for skills training, education & business support and a venue for local, national & international events and conferences. 

Located on Britain's Energy Coast in Cumbria, England, we are in our first year of operation having been officially opened by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Control in June 2009. 

Funded in partnership by the public and private sectors  as a non-for-profit company, we work with education and training providers to deliver  the energy  and low carbon industries with the skills they need now and into the future through programmes such as the engineering apprenticeship scheme, and business and engineering undergraduate courses.
