Centre for Leadership and Performance

Who are we?

The Centre for Leadership Performance is an initiative that aims to develop and strengthen leadership capability across the private, public and civic sectors in Cumbria.

We work on retaining and developing leaders who are already in place, but also on developing the potential of others, including the emerging young talent we have in the region.

We are based within the Energus building at Lillyhall.

Our Products

The Centre for Leadership Performance offers three streams of activity:

• Masterclasses
• Short Courses & Workshops
• Customised Solutions & New Designs

Leadership Masterclasses*

Every quarter a leadership masterclass launches a new leadership theme. The masterclasses feature distinguished guest speakers, such as leading Olympic Cycling Coach – Dan Hunt, and Dragon’s Den star – Duncan Bannatyne, providing us with the opportunity to hear and learn from some of businesses leading figures!

Short Courses & Workshops*

Following on from the masterclass, and keeping with the theme, a series of short courses, workshops and seminars follow throughout each quarter.  This activity is designed by our core group of providers and delivered collaboratively across Cumbria.

Customised Solutions & New Designs

Utilising the best resources and knowledge from our collaboration of suppliers, we create bespoke CfLP leadership products and learning packages, sourcing new and innovative solutions, to respond wholly to the leadership needs of the region and the employer.

*Places on workshops and masterclasses are all generally either fully or partly funded as part of our commitment to support and develop Cumbrian businesses and talent.
